Partnership Recruitment Campaign Launches

We are excited to announce that our recruiting season for the 2015-2016 school year has begun!

We appreciate all of the great work our Partnership teachers do every day to serve our students, but we recognize that all schools experience some turnover every year, and we want to be as prepared as possible to find the highest quality candidates who will live up to the bar set by our best teachers.

To that end, over the next few months, we will be looking for teachers and school-leaders to join our Partnership family as we urgently push for academic excellence across our six urban Catholic Schools. Building a deep pool of committed, hard working educators for our students is our goal, and to that end, we are excited to engage all of you. Historically, many of our best hires have been from your referrals – so we need your help.

For the first time in our history, the Partnership has created a recruitment video as part of our larger strategic campaign. With the voices and faces of our team, the video provides an introduction of who we are and what we are working to achieve. All of our featured teachers and network staff share their own excitement and commitment to 2,100 students across the Partnership.

We are looking to identify dynamic teachers and school-leaders with a demonstrated passion for closing the achievement gap, experience or commitment to work in historically underserved urban schools, and a respect for the Catholic culture, identity, and values around educating the whole child. If you know an educator that meets this description, steadfastly believes that all children can achieve academically, and has a collaborative, humble, and scrappy attitude, send them to our video and application site. Our coordinated recruitment and outreach strategy includes getting referrals from our current teachers, forging partnerships with organizations like the Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE), networking with organizations like Teach Like a Champion, Jesuit Volunteer Corps, and some of the most high-achieving charter school networks in NYC, increasing the Partnership presence at graduate and undergraduate recruitment fairs, and posting our open positions with some of the nation’s best education degree awarding programs that are aligned with our mission.

All descriptions of job openings are available on the website. In addition to teacher and school-leader positions, which are highlighted in the video, the Partnership is also looking for Operation Managers, Admissions and Development Associates, and summer interns.

Please take a couple of minutes now to view the video, then forward it to family and friends who you think might be interested in working at the Partnership.
