New York Daily News Features Partnership Schools

“Partnership Schools have put a new spin on the city’s traditional Catholic schools,” reporter Joanne Kroeger explained in a feature in the New York Daily News this week. The profile comes amid the paper’s larger coverage of increased interest in Catholic schools this year. “What seemed a quaint mission of faith-based learning, service and community has become an appealing, value and values-based proposition.” Kroeger shares. She also profiles St. Athanasius student Faith Holland, who transferred into her Partnership School and shared that “I didn’t feel like a transfer student because everyone was nice, friendly and welcoming.”

We’re honored that when the Daily News sought to cover what is innovative in Catholic education, they sought out Partnership Schools. And we’re even more pleased that students like Faith are finding a welcome school home within the Partnership. For the full story, click here.
