Meet our Newest Members of the Partnership Leadership Team

The Partnership welcomed three new members to our leadership team — Dr. Rosetta A. Wilson – Chief Academic Officer, Kwame Millar – Chief Operations Officer, and Cecilia Greene – Director of Development and Communications.

Dr. Wilson is providing academic vision and leadership to ensure continuous improvement at our schools.   She is strengthening principal and teacher capacity and developing academic programming and resources.

Prior to joining the Partnership, she served as a Program Director for Turnaround for Children, a non-profit foundation dedicated to school transformation in low-performing, high poverty schools in New York and Washington, D.C.   She has also served as the Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction in the South Orange Maplewood school district in New Jersey, and as an administrator in the Patterson, NJ school district.

Kwame manages school operations for the six Partnership network schools to ensure that they are running as efficiently and effectively as possible.  He works closely with school-based operations managers who oversee non-instructional activities to relieve their principals of the nuts and bolts tasks involved in running well-functioning school buildings.

Before joining the Partnership, Kwame served as Regional Director of Operations and Finance at Victory Education Partners, where he coached Directors of Operations and assisted charter schools in implementing operation systems, fiscal policies and procedures.  Prior to Victory, Kwame served as Senior Director of Social Enterprise for Wildcat Service Corporation.

Cecilia is designing and leading a comprehensive fundraising, marketing, and communications strategy for the Partnership and its six schools.

Cecilia’s background includes senior leadership positions in advertising and marketing at Ogilvy & Mather and Korey Kay and Partners on global accounts.  In addition she had extensive experience serving on non- profit and education boards, including a former Patrons Program school where she led fundraising efforts for programmatic and capital repairs.

As the leaders of their respective areas, Dr. Wilson, Kwame and Cecilia have brought enthusiasm and focus to the Partnership team and have already started steering a strong course in their respective areas.  We are thrilled to have them as part of our leadership team.
