Let’s Celebrate Enrollment in Partnership Network Schools

The push to increase enrollment at our schools has succeeded:  in September we welcomed 684 new students, raising enrollment from the previous school year by 132 students to 2,168. Thanks to the targeted and sustained marketing efforts of our Admissions and Development Associates (formerly known as â??Fellowsâ?), five of the six schools grew and Mt. Carmel-Holy Rosary held steady, maintaining its enrollment numbers from last year.

Concentrated marketing initiatives directed towards families with children in closing Catholic schools plus the introduction of the Partnership Network Scholarships Program (PNSP) yielded the greatest impact with 18% of new students coming from closing schools and 28% being supported by PNSP scholarships. Sacred Heart worked with the closing Holy Spirit School to transition 59 students, and Immaculate Conception and St. Athanasius enrolled a combined 52 students from St. Jerome School. Thanks to the PNSP program, 194 students who otherwise  could not afford the school tuition were able to enroll in Partnership schools.

The Partnership is now looking towards the next enrollment period which begins January 2014. Plans include simplifying the admissions and registration process and developing further targeted marketing efforts to help fill our schoolrooms to capacity.
