The Partnership is an independent school management organization—and the first national network of Catholic elementary schools in the U.S.
We Believe...
Catholic education transforms. When passionate, committed educators educate students for excellence and form them in virtue, then young people flourish—and so do our communities.
We Work…
in New York and Cleveland, managing and supporting eleven Catholic schools and over 3,400 students.
We Know…
That a clear vision of excellence, economies of scale in philanthropy and operations, and autonomy to respond nimbly to families’ needs produce results.

Our Mission
As an independent 501(c)3 and private school management organization, our mission is to develop outstanding Catholic elementary schools that provide students from underserved communities with the academic preparation, values, and skills they need to break the cycle of poverty and lead fulfilling, productive lives.
Our History
In 2010, two successful organizations supporting Catholic education in the Archdiocese of New York—The Endowment for Inner-City Education and the Patrons Program—merged to amplify their impact.
Thanks to a groundbreaking agreement with the Archdiocese in 2013, the Partnership was granted full operational control of six Pre-K to 8th-grade schools: three in the South Bronx and three in Harlem. In 2019, we added a seventh school, St. Charles Borromeo in Harlem. In 2020, two schools in Cleveland, Ohio—St. Thomas Aquinas and Archbishop Lyke—also joined our network, and in 2022, two more Cleveland schools—Metro Catholic and St. Francis—joined us.
