We run Catholic schools in a new way.
The Partnership is an independent school management organization. We run Catholic schools that have served striving communities for generations.
We Believe...
Catholic education transforms. When passionate, committed educators educate students for excellence and form them in virtue, then young people flourish—and so do our communities.
We Know…
That new challenges for children and urban Catholic schools call for new approaches.
We See…
That principals, teachers, and schools who get the support they deserve—and hold themselves accountable for results—can unlock opportunities that change the trajectories of students forever.
- Our Mission
- Our History
Partnership Schools came into being in 2013, when two successful organizations supporting Catholic education in the Archdiocese of New York—The Endowment for Inner-City Education and the Patrons Program—merged to form an innovative school management organization.
Over the 11-year period of our turnaround agreement with the Archdiocese, seven parochial schools serving the Bronx and Harlem increased enrollment, raised academic achievement, helped thousands of students earn admission and scholarships to top-tier high schools, and proved what is possible for Catholic schools serving low-income communities.
Beginning in 2020, we expanded our work to Cleveland, where we are proud to help schools and the neighborhoods they serve make warm, loving community and the educational foundation of social mobility possible for a new generation of Clevelanders. Our work in the city began with two schools and has since expanded to five.
In 2026, our efforts came to Toledo, Ohio, where two long-serving Catholic elementary schools joined our network.
We look forward to building on the rich histories of these schools and our network so that we may serve even more students.
